Students thinking to major in humanities are not only excellent writers but also excellent communicators, this well off trait can help them to become an editor. You must've edited your work and other people's work during your school and colleges, now it's time to invest the talent for building up your own empire. Making a profession out of it isn't a very bad idea, no? Look for organizations (on online job seeking sites like Naukri.com) that require editors for their technical work. You can also think of having a work from home job. 

2. TEACHER.

Never underestimate a teacher, the kind of aura, talent, and skills they carry are beyond comparison. Aspiring elementary mid-school or high-school teachers often require a bachelor's, a master's and then a teacher preparation program degree. At a college level, one may also require a doctoral degree. After all these stages becoming a successful teacher isn't a very big deal, moreover after a certain point, one might end up earning in lakhs. 

3. EVENT ORGANIZER.

If you are an organizer you know how to make people happy. You need to apply all those skills for that. Many of us consider this as a low paid job with lots of work and pressure. The initial stages of choosing this career line might not be very easy, perhaps once you are done with dealing with clients and delivering work successfully you work in the market booms.

4. LAWYER.

As a lawyer, your subjects will help you to guide your clients with all the reasons and skills you acquired. Working under and for the legal system is one of the best professions in India. It is considered a very high paid and highly respected job all over the globe. Earning a bachelor's degree in humanities is one of the ways to enter the legal domain. 5. MUSEUM WORKER/CURATOR

You can also turn your interest to your dream job by applying for a job at museums. Arts and anthropology, with some experience and a master's degree in the museum. You never know when you can work your way up as a curator and manage the entire museum as well.

So, with few of the listed options here humanities ain't a bad option at all.
